The Red Deer Christmas Bureau is pleased to offer a Food Hamper program. Clients can come into the Toy Depot which is located at #15 7428 49 Ave. They are asked to bring ID, including their Alberta Health Care Card for everyone in the family, one month’s bank statement, proof of income for qualification and proof of residency.
Applications will be taken November 6th – December 14th, 2017
Monday – Friday 10am – 4pm
If eligible, clients will be given a food hamper card, which they can redeem on December 20th or 21st from 10am – 5pm at the Toy Depot. The hampers contain a great deal of food, making them very heavy. It is recommended that clients have transportation from the Toy Depot.

Due to the content of our hampers, we do not take food donations. Should you wish to help provide hampers, cash donations are greatly appreciated.
* Those who apply and do not pick up their hampers WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE to apply the next 3 years for assistance. Also, if you apply with another organization you will not be eligible to receive from both places. We have these checks in place so that we may serve as many clients as possible. It costs the Christmas Bureau thousands of dollars to put together these hampers, please be considerate of the volunteer’s time to put these together for you.
