This years’ Toque Toss will be held Saturday, December 2, 2023
The Red Deer Rebels have been a great supporter of the community and this event is no exception.
The Rebels’ home game on December 2, at the Peavy Mart Centrium in Westerner Park, is the sight of the Annual Toque Toss. When the Rebels score their first goal people are asked to toss their items (toques, mitts, scarves, and socks) onto the ice! There will be items available for purchase at the game for $5 if you forget to bring your items. Look for the Christmas Bureau volunteers in the red plaid aprons. They will also have plastic bags available for your items so they are kept clean when thrown on the ice.
The Christmas Bureau is looking for new toques, mittens, gloves, scarves and socks to keep all those children warm this winter! When the Rebels score their first goal you are asked to toss your items onto the ice!
